Karol Marketing Puts Best Foot Forward With Asolo

Karol Marketing Group is expanding its impressive portfolio with the addition of a new client, Asolo.

The Italian footwear brand is one of the worldwide leaders in producing technical mountaineering shoes.

Appointed by the brand’s UK distributor – Scotland-based AMG Group – Karol Marketing will undertake PR activity for the footwear brand across the UK.

With more than 20 years’ experience working with a wide range of international clients, including Barbour, Hush Puppies, Nike, Merrell and Karrimor, the agency is well-equipped to re-establish Asolo as the must-have footwear brand for outdoor enthusiasts.

Asolo, which has been established for almost 40 years, is introducing its Alpine, Backpacking and Hike ranges to the UK market, offering a wide selection of Alpine, 4-season and 3-season boots, suitable for all outdoor conditions from low level summer walking to the most extreme winter alpine environments.

With all of the footwear designed and manufactured in Europe, Asolo combines master craftsmanship with the latest hi-tech design.

Rob Birrell, Product and Marketing Manager at AMG Group, said: “We have worked with Karol Marketing Group for over six years now, as they provide the PR support for AMG Group’s own camping and outdoor brands Vango and Force Ten. When it came to appointing PR support for Asolo, Karol was the natural choice, as the team already have established relationships with the specialist outdoor media, and excellent reach into national tabloids and broadsheets. We’re looking forward to seeing the reputation of Asolo grow within the UK market, and know that the team at Karol will deliver.”

Stefan Lepkowski, managing director of Karol Marketing Group, said: “With a strong background in building the reputation of outdoor brands, we are really looking forward to working with Asolo. It creates a fantastic opportunity for us to achieve great things for the brand, and to build its reputation to the level of success that it deserves.”
